These Terms govern Your access to and use of the Service and form the agreement between You and the Company regarding the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, You agree to be bound by these Terms. If You do not agree with these Terms, You may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, Candidates, recruiters, Organizations, and other users of the Service.

Your use of the Service is also subject to Our Privacy Policy, which describes how We collect, use, and disclose personal data. Please read the Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service.

Description of the Service

Seekiteazy is a recruitment and talent-matching platform built to help Organizations discover and evaluate candidates, with an emphasis on students and early-career talent. Depending on the product area and release stage, the Service may include:

  • candidate onboarding and profile creation;
  • CV or profile data extraction and normalization tools;
  • questionnaires, assessments, and profile-enrichment flows;
  • job posting, role configuration, and shortlist workflows;
  • match scoring, ranking, and recommendation tools;
  • recruiter collaboration and candidate pipeline features; and
  • related onboarding, communication, analytics, and support tools.

The Service is intended to support recruiting workflows. It does not guarantee interviews, offers, placements, hires, or any specific recruiting outcome.

Eligibility and Registration

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement in order to use the Service.

If You use the Service as a Candidate, You represent that You are at least 16 years old, or older if a higher minimum age is required under the law that applies to You. If You are below the age at which You may use the Service independently, You may use it only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or other legally authorized representative.

If You create an Account on behalf of an Organization, You represent that You are authorized to act on behalf of that Organization and to bind it to these Terms.

When You register, You must provide information that is accurate, complete, and kept reasonably up to date. We may suspend or terminate access if information provided to Us is materially inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your password and for activities carried out under Your Account. You must notify Us promptly if You believe Your Account has been compromised or used without authorization.

Candidate Responsibilities

If You use the Service as a Candidate, You agree that You will:

  • provide information that is truthful and not materially misleading;
  • complete assessments and questionnaires honestly and personally unless the Service clearly permits another workflow;
  • submit only content and documents that You have the right to share;
  • keep key profile information reasonably current where it affects matching or availability; and
  • use the Service only for legitimate educational, recruiting, or career-development purposes.

You must not impersonate another person, fabricate qualifications, manipulate scoring workflows, or attempt to interfere with the fairness or integrity of the matching process.

Recruiter and Organization Responsibilities

If You use the Service as a recruiter or on behalf of an Organization, You agree that You will:

  • use candidate information only for legitimate recruiting, hiring, internship, apprenticeship, or talent-evaluation purposes;
  • comply with applicable employment, discrimination, privacy, and data protection laws;
  • ensure that access to candidate information is limited to authorized team members;
  • keep credentials and workspace access secure;
  • make hiring decisions independently and responsibly; and
  • use the Service in a way that respects the dignity and privacy of candidates.

You must not:

  • scrape, copy, resell, or build a competing database from candidate information;
  • use candidate information for unrelated marketing, spam, or outreach outside legitimate recruitment workflows;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer internal scoring logic in a way that harms the Service or other users; or
  • use the Service to unlawfully discriminate or exclude candidates on the basis of protected characteristics under applicable law.

Visibility and Use of Candidate Information

The Service is designed so that Organizations can review candidate profiles and platform-generated matching information in order to evaluate potential fit for roles.

Depending on the feature and workflow, Organizations may be able to see some or all of the following:

  • Candidate name and profile information;
  • education, experience, skills, languages, and values-related profile data;
  • summaries or indicators derived from completed assessments;
  • match scores, fit dimensions, and role-specific ranking information; and
  • limited exportable data where the product expressly provides export functionality.

The Service is not intended to give Organizations unrestricted access to all internal platform data. Raw assessment responses, internal scoring parameters, internal moderation signals, or other non-public information may be withheld, limited, transformed, or summarized at Our discretion.

Once an Organization accesses candidate information through the Service for its own recruitment purposes, that Organization may act as an independent controller of that information under applicable law. Organizations are responsible for their own downstream use of that data.

Assessments, Matching, and Automated Features

The Service may use questionnaires, scoring models, profile normalization, semantic analysis, and other automated or semi-automated processing to produce outputs such as:

  • profile suggestions and structured profile fields;
  • behavioral or communication-style summaries;
  • fit dimensions such as technical, cultural, or personality alignment;
  • match scores and rankings; and
  • shortlist and recommendation support.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • these outputs are decision-support tools only;
  • they may be generated or assisted by machine-learning or AI systems;
  • they are not guarantees of suitability, employability, or performance;
  • they do not constitute legal, psychological, clinical, or professional advice; and
  • final recruiting, hiring, or admissions decisions remain the sole responsibility of the relevant Organization.

We may change the models, methods, or weighting logic used in the Service over time.

Content and License

You retain ownership of Content that belongs to You, subject to the rights You grant Us in these Terms.

By submitting Content through the Service, You grant Us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, process, and otherwise use that Content to the extent necessary to operate, secure, maintain, improve, and provide the Service.

This license includes the right to:

  • parse and structure profile information;
  • generate derived fields, recommendations, and matching outputs;
  • display relevant Content to authorized users within the Service; and
  • create backups and copies needed for infrastructure, security, and reliability purposes.

You represent and warrant that You have the rights necessary to submit the Content and to grant the license above.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use the Service to submit or distribute Content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory, infringing, malicious, obscene, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable.

Examples include:

  • false or misleading profile or job information;
  • unlawful or abusive content;
  • malware, viruses, or harmful code;
  • content that infringes intellectual property or confidentiality obligations;
  • spam or unauthorized solicitation; and
  • attempts to impersonate another person, recruiter, candidate, or Company representative.

We may review, remove, refuse, restrict, or disable Content or access where We reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, respond to complaints, or reduce harm.

Beta Features and Product Changes

Some parts of the Service may be released as early-access, beta, or experimental features. Those features may change, be interrupted, contain errors, or be discontinued without notice.

We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features, workflows, integrations, or portions of the Service at any time.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, software, design, branding, documentation, interfaces, and platform-specific features, excluding Content provided by users, are and remain the exclusive property of the Company and its licensors.

The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, database, and other applicable laws in Belgium and elsewhere.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except to the extent expressly permitted by law or by Us in writing.

Feedback

If You provide Feedback, You agree that We may use it without restriction or compensation to You. To the extent permitted by law, You assign to Us all rights, title, and interest in such Feedback. If that assignment is ineffective, You grant Us a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and otherwise exploit that Feedback.

Third-party Services

The Service may rely on or link to Third-party Services. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or policies of third-party websites, tools, or services that We do not control.

Your use of a Third-party Service may be subject to that third party's own terms and privacy policy.

Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate Your Account or access to the Service immediately, with or without notice, if:

  • You breach these Terms;
  • We are required to do so by law;
  • We reasonably believe suspension is necessary to protect the security, integrity, or availability of the Service; or
  • continued access may expose Us, other users, or third parties to risk or harm.

You may stop using the Service at any time. If You want Your Account deleted, You may request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

Termination does not limit any rights or remedies that accrued before termination.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of opportunity, business interruption, reputational harm, or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of the Company and its suppliers for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall be limited to the greater of:

  • the amount actually paid by You to the Company through the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • USD 100 if You have not paid anything through the Service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to You. In that case, liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, We disclaim all warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

Without limiting the foregoing, We do not warrant that:

  • the Service will meet Your requirements;
  • the Service will always be available, secure, or error-free;
  • any match score, ranking, or recommendation will be accurate or complete; or
  • any defect or interruption will be corrected immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.

Disputes Resolution

If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the issue informally by contacting Us.

If You are an EU consumer, You will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections granted by the law of the country where You habitually reside.

Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted to achieve its intended purpose as closely as possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

The failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time.

If a revision is material, We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice before the revised Terms take effect. By continuing to use the Service after revised Terms become effective, You agree to be bound by them.

If You do not agree to the revised Terms, You must stop using the Service.
